Seeing all the #rymesona art made me want to draw one too, even though I’m not a great artist by any means.

Naturally, I had to give my sona a Charizard, since it’s my favourite Pokémon! I used both the more cartoony Charizard and the Detective Pikachu movie Charizard as reference to draw Charizard.

My sona got her Charizard when it was a Charmander as a child as a birthday gift, and they have been a team ever since. She has other Pokémon she caught or befriended along the way (she is not native to Ryme City, she is simply visiting as part of her dream of travelling around the world. She was born in and grew up in the Sinnoh Region), but Charizard has always been with her. It is without a doubt her strongest and most trusted Pokémon. She always has her sketchbook and pencil with her in case she gets the urge to draw or write something down while travelling.

Charizard is female, and loves to be scratched under her chin and adores belly rubs. Her (and her Trainer’s) favourite move to use is Flamethrower. She also knows Dragon Pulse, Iron Tail, and Aerial Ace. She cannot Mega Evolve as her Trainer doesn’t have any of Charizard’s Mega Stones nor a Key Stone.
